Scabies is a skin infestation caused by a mite known as the Sarcoptes scabies. If left untreated, these microscopic mites can live on your skin for months. They reproduce on the surface of your skin and then burrow into it and lay eggs. This may cause itchiness and red rashes to form on the skin.
To prevent these problems, anti-scabies agents are used, which kill the scabies mite and are also known as scabicides. Mainly anti-scabies soaps, lotions & creams are used for these problems.
