Scabies is a skin infestation caused by a mite known as the Sarcoptes scabies. Untreated, these microscopic mites can live on your skin for months. They reproduce on the surface of your skin and then burrow into it and lay eggs. This causes an itchy, red rash to form on the skin.
The immediate treatment is needed for scabies. To prevent these problems, anti-scabies agents are used, which kill the scabies mite and also known as scabicides. Mainly anti-scabies soaps, lotions & creams are used for these problems.
Soap can be used as an adjuvant remedy for treating scabies. It is an anti-parasitic medicament used to treat irruption of lice, ticks, fleas, and mites on the scalp of skin.
Scabiedge medicated soap is the combination of permethrin and cetrimide. Permethrin is most effective in treating scabies.
As pyrethroid, it paralyzes nerves of Sarcoptes scabiei, ultimately causing its death. Also safe in children. Cetrimide act as a local anti-infective agent, which helps to prevent skin infections.
